BC Garn is the brand that today produces the most GOTS certified yarns in the whole world. 14 of its yarns already have the full certificate, which proves that they comply with strict animal welfare and environmental protection regulations. The GOTS seal guarantees healthy and safe working conditions for employees, fair wages and social responsibility. Retention of the certificate is audited and reviewed annually.

The traditional Danish company was founded in 1996 by Bo Carstensen, who himself comes from a multi-generational weaving family. During the company's operation, the focus has always been on the development of yarns made from natural fibers, available in a wide range.

In 2018, the Carstensens sold BC Garn to another family, Britta and Carsten Kremke. Even before the purchase of the company, the Kremkes had a long-standing business relationship with BC Garn, as their former German distributors, and even after the change of ownership, they continue production according to the traditions of the Danish founders and offer a wide range of yarns, colors and models to the brand's customers.
